A3 month old boy is brought to the physician in January because of dificulty breathing, clear nasal discharge and cough for 24 hours. t: 37.6, BP: 88/54, pulse: 168, and respirations are 60. Bilateral wheezing, prolongued expiration, and a grade 2/6 systolic murmur along the left sternal border are heard. The liver is palpated 3cm below the right costal margin. An x-ray film of the chest shows bilateral hyperinflation and no cardiomegaly. Which of the following is the most likely diagnosis?

a) Adenovirus pneumoniae
b) Congestive heart failure
c) Influenza A virus pneumoniae
d) RSV bronquiolitis
e) Staphilococcal pneumoniae
f) Status asmaticus

me too rsv bonchiolitis.
a, c, e show infiltartions and consolidations, not hyper inflation.

liver and spleen may be palpated if there is hyperinflation,
chf we need other findings on examination.
