hmm..i just googled it and i've found every imaginable answer. The most popular answer seems to be 22 days. Too tired right now to refer to a txtbook.
I suppose FA can't be entirely without flaw!!! It's still my bible though.

Day 22 of development corresponds to about 5 weeks of last menses and week 6 is when the heart beating should be visible through transvaginal ecography, so 22 is the most logical answer.

22 days,ofcourse its beating is done by just flowing of blood through the primitive heart tube because the musculature of the heart isn't complete yet.

Yeah, it,s true that FA says 4th week, but remember 4th week is from day 22 to day 28. So it could be both.
My sources range from 21 to 24 days so I will say it's 22.
