I remembered a while back there was a question about the choice of antibiotic for a 3rd trimester pregnant woman with UTI.
Someone insisted bactrim was the choice of antibiotic for UTI.
As I came across neonatal jaundice, Bactrim will increase the risk of neonatal juandice and should not be used in 3rd trimester pregnant women.
IN OB, try to avoid any drugs that have side-effect on the neonates including Bactrium for UTI
