I think it is due to prostaglandin because aspirin is given to reduce the flushing.

I THINK IS NITRIC OXID, BECAUSE THE FLUSHING IS INMEDIATELY AND THE PROSTAGLANDINS NEED TO BE SYNTHESIZED FOR THE COX.
