a 72-year-old man comes for a routine follow-up examination. He has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treated with aspirin. His blood pressure is 160/60, pulse is 70/min, res. are 12/min. Funduscopic examination show arteriovenous nicking. Pedal pulses are decreased bilaterally. Which of the following antihypertensive drugs is most likely to cause adverse effects in this patient?

You are right I was thinking of thiazide diuretics as worsening peripheral vascular dzs. The reason the met imbalance they produce, but I guess that would take a prolonged period of time to do so...
