A 45yr old male was admitted to ER with symptoms of projectile vomitting ,abdominal pain,mental confusion,anxiety etc..after taking phenobarbital ..what's the diagnosis??what's the cause ??

or PBG-deaminase or hydroxymethylbilane synthase or pre-uroporphyrinogen synthase...all are the same.

Ok so the patient had a bad trip with some "reds" phenobarbital,but how do you come to the conclusion to that Dx is it because they are more suseptible ?
