hi everyone.could someone please guide me about following things regarding step3 exam? whats percentage of no. of questions in step3 exam that are related to each subjects separately i.e. medicine,surgery,gyn/obs,paediatrics,psychiatry? since most of the questions are related to common diseases, which book/reading material will cover these diseases in detail?......particularly management part and preventive/counselling part. i have just started preparation of step3.what reading material would be best and how much time should i give to each subject? looking forward eagerly for reply from someone.!

Hi there!! The 5 topics run even in the test, remember that an average is your score, so you have to get even enough to pass. Texts of family practice are good and something ICU & ER secrets help Don't forget office managment. Update your lab tests, imaging protocols and therapeutics Focus on your weaknesses so you can get even I been tutoring colleagues to pass the all the USMLEs with great success Any questions henry k hgkud04@yahoo.com (860)983-2883
