hello friends. i m an img frm india aiming fr 2008 match
this is my tentative schedule....
step 1- jan2007
step 2ck- may07
step 2cs- july2007
what i wanted to ask is..
1. with this timeline, is it gonna be possible fr me to get all 3 scores b4 ERAS opens fr 2008 match?
2. is d may to july gap enough fr CS considering logistics fr visa,etc?
3. what is d last date to give CS so that we get d result before ERAS opens?
plz take some time out to guide me.

I think your timeline is just ok for 2008 match.As for cs visa make sure you fix an appointment with embassy well in advance and try to take cs before 15 july to get the results before sep 13.See here for more info on cs dates.

hi, am aiming for the 2008 match too. i have given step 1 and am waiting for my results . sorry i cant help you. am in need of help myself. i will take step 2ck in this nov. am confused when to take step 2cs and 3. am asking around. will let you know soon as i have some info.

hey...
lolz....looks like u and i have the exact same schedule....
actually...i asked around and most of the ppl i spoke to say that its slightly late...that we should have already given step1 or atleast given it before jan..blah blah...
but even though we will b cutting it pretty close....i think it wont b a huge issue...
however on the bleaker side...some res prog prefer applicants who r ecfmg certified..which u know ,only happens when step1,2,cs is done and the home school verifies.etc etc...
but i rather not rush my step 1 coz the score is soo imp..spec since i have no usce...
grrrrr....if life wasnt already hard.....
