A 29-year-old woman is undergoing surgery for multiple internal injuries. She is losing large amounts of blood and requires a blood transfusion. Her blood group is A negative. Stocks of this blood type are low and she receives a large volume of older banked blood in which erythrocyte 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG) levels are low. decrease in DPG will shift the curve to the LEFT and it will increase the affinity of Hb for O2 so B seem to be right
