segmented viruses? reoviruses are unique as they are ds RNA viridae.. rota virus belongs to the family. how many segments duz RoTEN virus have?

a bit out of your topic... Reovirus(dsRNA virus) is carrying a virion core enzyme. [also Rotavirus] one of a positive strand of Revirus can't be used as a template for mRNA? several questions is dealing about this, but it's not on the kaplan microbiology. does Reovirus(also Rotavirus) have incomplete double stranded RNA virus? Thanks in advance.

lim i hope im right ( coz its been almost a month) but remeber the usual mRNA in the cell is single stranded. and it is this configuration which will be suited for replication. the ds RNA will probably atleast need some unwinding before use and the host's cells wud not have the relevant enzyme
