if liver cells have to regenerate they will go from G1 to S?
that is are liver cells in G0 or G1 at rest?

liver cells are stable so most of them are going to be in Go phase (<1.5% are in cell cycle). after injury, they go on to G1 but once they have stopped to divide, they go back to Go.

Yes

Only Cardiac muscles, skeletal muscles ans neurons are permanent cells that do not regenerate themselves
