To former examiner, I am a newcomer for this board as a member. But I've read this board for months.... I hope you guys could advise me for the books I'm preparing for step 1.... 1. Is it enough to read mainly in all KAPLAN 2002 in PHARM, ANAT, PHYSIO, BIOCHEM, MICRO, BEHAV and BRS patho ? 2. I am preparing 2 and a half weeks for each subject ? 3. I will finish the reading with first aids 4. I will use Q bank, KAPLAN CD, Q book for MCQ testing in my last 4 weeks 5. I've planned to take step 1 in Feb 2007 Could anyone suggest me about these ???? Thanks a lot .... PS: I am an IMG from Thailand ..... THANKS again

i think you are right on the track. try to stick to one source. the best of which is the Kaplan Lecture notes + BRS for Path. in my opinion, knowing one book pretty well and repeating it over and over in a subject is much better than studying from many sources. and ofcourse do as many MCQs as time allows. kaplan Qbank +Qbook are the best. Good luck
