thank you for letting on BATS DB ( bats drink blood). did not know that. used something crude to remember. as for numbers, cant think of anything simple.

i make a little sense out of the numbers:

really fast waves, you are awake (15-40) ..beta
slow waves you are sleepy (8-12)...............alpha
slower waves you are asleep (3-7).............theta
fast waves, most of sleep (12-14)..............sleep spindle
really slow.. you are deeply asleep.............delta
saw tooth, a nightmare.............................REM

not much help sad

2 left !!
ist recap...
Bats drink blood gives order of sleep. now try matching the wave frequency
saw tooth --nightmare --REM sleep
theta =threeta 3-7 cycles per s
Delta = Deepest hence slowest (1/2 -2 )
really fast waves when ur awake ---beta (15-40)
alpha nd spindles left

I have another good one:

Stage 2 has 2 things: Sleep Spindles and K complexes.
SS- Sleep Spindles and KK- K Komplexes... 2 S's and 2 K's so stage 2 Sleep.

Where did you get awake = 15-40? -I couldn't find it.

Alpha is Eight to Twelve...

A and E are both vowels... smiling face I know it's a stretch, but it could work to help you remember that one...

I like awake fastest waves and deep sleep slowest waves... Good thinking study_ing! smiling face

can any one of u please sum up the above discussion in one post?

as i remember from my EEG preparation, in order to get Alfa, Pt has to close his eyes and relax, but not fall asleep and it would be frequency 8-12(13), if Pt keeps his eyes open you'll get Beta - >13
it is kind of confusing for me, because in Kaplan it says Alfa - drowsiness....
very confusedsad
