Hello guys, I need your help in writing a deans letter. I had asked my college to write a deans letter for me but they don't know how to write one. Hence I am preparing myself a sample letter and then giving them the letter prepared by me. Does anybody in the forum know to write a sample Dean's letter or guide me to a site which mentions some sample deans letter? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the most important part is to mention what you have done and achieved in those years in medical school, there is not any place for what is you suitable for.

At this time MSPE is for AMG's only - if your school can't provide it, have them submit what they have always done. It will be okay. http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/resources/downl...

The three PDs that I hae worked for - and many others that I have talked with all agree that a dean's letter doesn't pull a huge amount of weight. Our nickname is "The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread" letter. Everyone is stellar, everyone is in the top 20% of the class, everyone is the greatest humanitarian since.......well since dean's letters have been written. If you can't get a Dean's letter - don't sweat it. There are more important aspects of your application to concentrate on.
