Hey, My step2ck exam date is in the end of august. I already read the Kaplan notes + First Aid + Kaplan Q Book and I am just doing the UW Bank. So far I finished more than 600 questions always timed and unused, mostly in blocks of 46 Qs. My cumulative score is 78,7% so far. Do you think I should also do the Kaplan Q Bank or isnt it very different to UW? Any recommendations? How do you think does the Kaplan Q Bank differ to UW? DIfferent topics? Different focuses? Which one was more similar to the real exam?

Today was a bad day Went down to 76% cumulative today. Dont know how to improve, maybe go over your previously used materails again (like kaplan notes). but I dont think youre too bad, just keep on doing the questions. I think UW is good to learn but often its a little bit too picky.

I plan to take the exam in late sept/oct.. just a question on how to subscribe to UW. I plan to do it twice. Do I sign up for a month or do it for 3 months? The confusion lies on the RESETTING of UW after the first time. The first time I'd like to use as a learning tool. The second go, I'll pay more attention to the scores I get and use that alongside NBME's as a gage as the exam get's closer as to were I stand.. Read from posters on here.. that UW won't let you reset.. so, was questioning on what's the best way to do this..economically and for my intensive purposes. Any thoughts?

I personally wouldnt use any questions that I already did to see where I stand. I would recommend only NBME for that if you plan to do UW first. I first read Kaplan NOtes, did Q Book and then startet UW. Im only doing unused timed all subjects to see where I stand but after every block I go over the explanations thoroughly.

I also read all the explanations very carefully. However, it takes me a lot of time. At least 3-4 hours for each block:-(

hm I do 5 blocks in approximately 8 to 9 hours (thats the time I learn per day at the moment). The last two blocks today were better again, so I have 78% cumulative again I wouldnt worry too much about your score so far, I think UW is great for learning. Did you already take one of the NBMEs? I m thinking about doing one this weekend, to see where I am.
