I'm a Brazilian pediatrician applying for a ped residency program in the US. How does the neurology program work there? *(usually?)
here in Brazil we need to take the complete intern medicine or pediatrics residency AND THEN go for the neurology...
is it the same thing there? do you have programs that are just neurology? with maybe PRE-intern medicine or PRE-pediatrics?

I donīt know if iīm 100% right. For Adult Neurology you have to do 1 year of internal medicine, ad for Child Neurology you have to do 2 years of pediatrics. I met 2 fellows last year, and they told me that is better to finish pediatrics.
