I read all those helpful posts in residency match experience, but I couldn't figure how many of those programs IMGs matched at are university based. what are an IMGs chances in good univ based programs, provided he/she has good scores? are you guys applying to mostly community or university programs?

nowadays good scores are commonplace.. so bein an img if u want to get into a uni prog u need somethin extra like research / usce / prior residency / gc / link to get into competitive places like uni progs.. and many imgs manage to get into the best of places with the right creds

Thanks a lot apurva. I'll be shooting for the moon, keeping the stars as a very real possibility... I'm trying to think of it as a win-win situation.....makes the IMG stigma more bearable. keep in touch, good luck!
