I am looking for a study partner from romania.
I have been studying for quite a while, I 'm aiming high and I'd be happy to keep in touch -over the phone-with someone motivated who has the exam in aug-sept.just to share daily or weekly progress.

Hello, is anybody in usa, on the south-west? I am from Arad. Nice to see you all, good luck and God bless you! Im not Romania neither im in Romania rite now but i have graduated Medicine from Romania!
Im also starting to prepare seriosly for Step 1 from oct and thinkin of takin exam in march next year!

well, as for Isther's call to tighten the lines, I will make a grouping call for all the romanians out there! If the ecuadorians can do it... we can too!
are there any other romanians that I haven't met? well... I hope you won't bite the european union thing and forget about the Land of all possibilities, guys! I don't think Europe is gonna take us all with it's arms open just 'cause we're members now... tough times are coming and probably the US is gonna be also a tougher refuge to go to.
I'm gonna keep this thread alive at least 3 years from now... maybe someone else will show up!!

agree with that , Manu! good luck, romanians, i just got in touch with some friends going for usmle, hope to get them here. Vreau sa spun ca pentru prima data am intilnit romani care s-au ajutat unii pe altii fara a cere ceva in schimb, fara scopuri ascunse. deocamdata suntem doar citiva romani aici, dar in acest an am legat prietenii puternice pentru ca ne-am sustinut reciproc in acest drum. Sper ca alti romani sa se alature si sa pastreze acelasi trend de prietenie intre noi.

it's nice to have dreams, but once in a while it's nice to be realistic for a change...
I, for example, would rather go somewhere in Europe (english speaking country) if it were easy, just because I'd be closer to home and to the family.. even after you'll get "americanized" you'll still belong in romania... good or bad, in this country you have your roots implanted deep in and you'll miss it...
for vallia: it's just curious how bad we all are (romanians)... and I'll say all.. I think is the way we grew up... the way this society tought us to be. even if life will take us to different places, with different moral values and we'll change a lot, the envy, the hathred, the selfishness will be hard to keep in chains... or maybe it's just my thought... I think is the romanian way...

I have a Q (a little off topic - sorry): is there any country in Europe where one can practice medicine after getting American Board certified? Just for fun...
