If I asks the sp "Do you have family history of similar symptoms or any other important diseases ?" wil he provide information ? Or should I ask specificaly "...cancer, heart disease, thyroid, DM.....?"
?

for the FH I asked whether anyone in your family has similar problems, they said no but my father has DM...and sometimes they just said no and I had to ask is there any other medical condition or illness in your family and then they would say oh my mother is HTN.

If breast cancer, ask family hx of breast, ovarian cancers !
