the bottom line to remember is

dopamine develops sexuality

serotonin supresses sexuality

there fore you can see that antiparkinsonian drugs increase libido e.g lvodopa

fluoxetine increases serotonin thus causing anorgasmia and retarded ejaculation( although some pals may say its good)

an also many drugs acting via serotonin

viz methyl dopa and propranolol reduce libido

* note: ACE inhibitors are the only anti htn drugs that dont have any effect on libido

are Calcium channel blockers asso with decreased libido. me thinks not..

no, I don't think so... but while we are on that lets try to think of some drugs that DO decrease libido:

-Neuroleptics/Antipsychoitcs
