duz znyone know what the most dependent bronchopulmonary segments are in

a) the supine position

b) the standing one

coz that wud determine where aspiration is likely to occur.

standing/sitting - posterobasal segment of Right Lower lobe

Lying down - superior segment of Right Lower Lobe

lying on the RT side - RT middle lobe/Posterior segment of RT upper lobe

Lying on left side - Lingula of LT lung
