hi,
i am new to this forum, i would like to know what we need to look into before making decision which one to choose, PLAB or USMLE.
Which one of them has the good chances of getting up job after completing the course. Which one of it take longer time in completion of the course.

Just out of curiousity which test is harder? I've heard that the usmle is harder than the plab, but since I haven't taken anything besides the usmle, is it as difficult???

PLAB I (and a bit of PLAB II) is way easier than USMLE....IMO.

i heard that plab these days is not so suicidal for british national imgs but cant say for sure as i dont have much info.
yes thats what we hear all the time plab is way easier than usmle

PLAB is for getting certificate to work as a GP in UK, not for residency.

i know that step 3 is more difficult that mrcp 1.. bcoz im studyin for it now.. plab shud be inferior

MRCP for internal med, MRCS for surgery and so on MRC... etc for different residencies.
Both of MRC.. and PLAB are much easier than USMLE, as I've seen, all the people just do the pervious tests and sit for the exams

I would say step-3 is in between mrcp-1 and mrcp-2(theory),Plab exam itsaelf is much easier,but what will you do after plab there no jobs being offered to FMGS' in UK!!!!
to take plab is completely useless for a foreign medical gradauates,USMLE is way much better.
