Confused regarding taking step 2

I am IMG passed step 1 score 86 and CSA.had palnned to give step 2 in september 1st week but have been selected as tutor in neuroscience at St George university Grenda.Query is if I postpone exam will be very late for 2007 match and less chances for 2008 as I am 2003 graduate. as I have to write it only in october aftetr this eligiblity ends. Will this post at Grenda give my CV a boost or not.

pLEASE guide me

not as much as ur s2.. i wud give the exam if ur ultimate goal is to do md in usa..

score scores scores scores are the most important. tutoring will not help you at all. The only reason to even think about doing it would be if you needed the money, even then I would give step 2 first. There are a lot of things like observerships/externships/research that are a lot more helpful and I would try to exhaust every link/opportunity you have to get those before you decide to tutor.
