A 40 year old woman comes to the physician because "too much stress in my life now "
She describes feeling depressed and tense because of recent marital separation,a job change,the need to relocate to another city and the worsening of her 8 year old asthma
physical examination shows no abnormalities
laboratory studies are most likely to show which of the following abnormalities ?

stree has a direct pathophysiological role on immunity such as increased level of CORTISOL can actually destroy the imuune tissue.......

Very good star1! Enjoyed the short, simple, but sweet explanation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I remember stress hormones are cortisol {which could lead towards gluconeogenesis}

epi-{which would favor glycogenolysis} and GH which is anabolically oriented
