NUGGET OF THE DAY- patient admitted in hospital ws on clindamycin.. he develops diarrhea. colonoscopy shows inflamed mucosa n white exudates. stool tests +ve fr Cl. difficile toxin. (y cudnt i have just written d organism straightaway?? )
Which ONE(one only) antibiotic ll u choose to treat this patient n WHY?

i read it once but seems like i dunt know anything ,actually there is alot of mugging up too here.

sigh!!!!
i get that a lot...(the whole girls not bieng into surgery)..but times r changing...i have 3 friends,all girls ,who will b sitting for the surgery part1 exam in my country(pakistan btw)..im gonna b the 4...and these r just the girls i know of...i guess some girls r thinking of it as an alternative to gynae(blech...!! hate that)
tell u wat...when we match next year,inshallah...and then when we go for our first vacation block...lets stop over in japan...!!(ok so that mite happen in 2008 but hey...im hopeful!!!)

DAMN IT!!! cudnt finish my review of bacteria in these 2 days still at spirochetes.. dont have any excuses.. after the high of the weekend, i seem to have slowed down a bit.m at spirochetes wth mycobacteria n antibiotics still to go
target fr tomorrow.. finish bacterio, antibiotics, mycology, anti fungals n start viro if possible.
COME ON BOY! U HAVE THE WHOLE DAY. CAN'T U DO EVEN THAT MUCH!!

n u always use metronidazole to Rx pseudomemb enterocolitis to avoid selecting vancomycin resistant gut flora.
remember-when given a choice, prefer to travel by METRO train instead of a VAN

Its OCTOBER!!!
This is the critical point where i ws aiming to really take prep by the scruff of its neck... its 4 months to go. lets make it 4 months of intense study!!
ok sooo.. progress report- micro+immuno really boring but i m kinda getting it now. have finished micro n doin immuno now. i have decided to juggle immuno wth anat to overcome the monotony...

ok so today i launch a new project ... its MISSION OCTOBER
mission targets- gonna do 4 subjects in this month-
immuno-whatever's left
anat
physio
patho-maybe not whole but a chunk of it is gonna be in my head by 31st.
methodology- nearly 1 week per subject, primary source-KLN fr all except path.. will see abt that when i get to it.
minimum expectations- 8 to 10 hours of study per day
a bit tough given my duty roster but... ITS OCTOBER YAAR!!
auxillaries- finish 1 subject frm kaplan qbank per week....
recreation- starting on a light exercise schedule.. n LOTS of prayer!!
lets see... Mission october.......initialising

i like ur oct plan...very ambitious...and so it should b.... that 99 is not gonna come by taking it easy.....
