hi i am a IMG.applying for CA residency as i will be getting married their.i have really low scores 82 in step 1 and 76 in step 2.got ECFMG certificate.what are my chnaces of getting residency in CA .i ahve applied for PTAL.which branches are worht trying. please help

dear, i heard for residency in CA u gotto be a citizen and 've all these hrs of internship at various branches. check out the CA govt website.u'll know. good luk buddy

You do not need hours of externship for California it depends on the program really. Also being a U.S. citizen does help quite a bit. You can apply with zero hours of U.S. experience and still get into a program in California but scores do make a difference.

chances of residency depending on scores in turn depend on WHAT specialty u applying for and how competetive it is :-)
