dear Moderator,
I am on H4 right now
please tell me if i can get H1 by any means before getting into a residecy programme......eg. if i get hired at places like Kaiserpermanente etc.
and if yes then does this get transfered to the university who provides me with a residency programme at a latter date.
and if yes is it a problem that my 6 yr H1 expires bfr my residency.......is there a problem in getting it renewed?
any views and ideas r most welcome,

ok i cant answer all the questions. but if u want h1 first u have to clear step 3 and then apply to those programs that sponsor h1,and as far as i know u cant extend h1 after 6 years.
