why can't it be A. Histone 1 protects the dna from breakdown by nuclease

  #7

the area bound in the nucleosomes is MOST protected, the linker comparitively less

d histone octamere provides the max protection by nucleases but H 1 also do tht but to a lesser degree....

according to kaplan lectures, an octamer (2 times H2a,H2b, H3 & H4) if alone without H1, will not protect the DNA from degradation, while H1 does as the chromatin is more tight.can someone explain????
