Hi everyone...I was wondeing if someone would be able to help with this question?

What is the drug of choice for WPW arrythmias...Kaplan books say it is procainamide, however I thought for step one that ibutilide is the drug of choice for WPW arrythmias?

Adenosine or procainamide

Adenosine if associated with PSVT

Adenosine, if adenosine fails, then procainamide.

This is in Step 2 CS Stations ER part. Must remember this.

Don't forget USMLE Step 2 CS ER Station !
