Friends I have just read about tereparatide.so wanted to tell you all.
Its a new drug approved by FDA ,it is anabolic growth agent for bones.It has shown increased BMD (bone density) and less incidence of #( fractures) in postmenopausal women.
Others as we know like biphosphonates (pamidronate)....they reduce bone resorption by inhibiting osteoclast cells.
