Dear friends,

Today, I did my interview in US cosulate, Dubai for B-visa. The interviewer was a nice American lady. she asked me: "what is the purpose of your trip?", " can I see your bank statement", " Have u ever been in another countries?", " who will support you?" and finally asked my wife:" how much is ur basic salary". we replied answers honestly, with confidence, without any ...em..er....!

The intervieww took less 12-15 min, and finally we were told have a nice trip

I was wearing a dark blue pants with a royal blue shirt and a descent tie. My wife was wearing a milky skirt with 1" heel sandals.

My advice is Prepare your answers before your interview and repeat with yourself to don't miss details, and Be formal in every thing.

Thank you all for your PMs and supporting me to go through this.

Cheers,

Amir

I've got My FBI clarification, I'm going to be in US, in next 2 weeks,

What sort of questions Home Land Officers usually ask from us?

I want a B-Visa for one year or at least Six months. I didn't tell them that I'm going to take CS. Do they know whether you have passed exam before?

Amir

Today, I went Consular office in Dubai, gave our passport to them, they will stamp the visa on them and pass to us, by tomorrow.

But I think I did something wrong, I also gave them my Form 186 for CS to be certifed. I don't know what will happen tomorrow, maybe they reject us, however, I think this is Unreasonable. I am a bit worried.

Thanks Tolito, I'll post my documents. I am thinking about registring another conference for more than 90 days later after my arrival date, so I can get the 6 months. What do you think? by the way, are you 100% sure that they don't know about the exams.

Rana Khan, FBI check took me 6 days. I was very lucky for this, because I asked people in consul, it was around 4 weeks for them.

Yesterday, I received my passport with visa stamp, but it took me a while to attend the officer and sighned Form 186 in front of her. She only asked me, do you have visa, then the form was signed and stamped by them. they charged me $40.

Finally...

It seems to me I am on the way, cool!

Hey guys,

I arrived US 3 days ago. the officer just asked me the reason of coming US. they gave me 6 months B2 visa. I also filled out a registration form about my physical characteristics, it was after visa stamp.

They never searched my luggage, the officer just asked me do you have any food?
I passed the Custom in seconds.

But it is a long process, for us it took about 4 hours.

Be patience!
