A 10 yr old girl comes to physician for her physical profile and she complains of unexplained weight loss,diarrhea,abdominal cramps ,floating,grayish stools that float,general weakness ,itchy vesicles over arms .legs and knees.she also states that after consuming cereals,cookies of wheat origin she develops diarrhea .....what 's the most likely disorder in this girl and what's the cause of it??

correct it's celiac disease..

yep this is celiac disease --- causes blunting of the villi --- steatorrhea -- floating stools --- malabsorption -- failure to thrive
i think goljan siad that there is a 100% association with dermatitis herpetiformis and a question on this did come
