HI you know that one of the defence mechanism for heart failure is catecholamin release and then tachycardia, is one of the sign of heart failure , if you order B BLOCKER in the patint with more sever heart failure ( function class 3 and 4 ), you disruped this mechanism, in the mild heart failure , B blocker is useful because it ,decrease the work load of heart via decrease heart beat and increase relaxation of left ventricle
