I have few queries in regard to 2007 Match. If these queries have been posted earlier, plz provide me the link for that.
1. Do I have to pass step1 and 2CK to apply for the Match or is it ok if I provide it before the rank listing.
2. Is it necessary to provide MSPE( Deans letter) I am not sure if my college in India knows about it and moreover the present dean might not be knowing me and I may have to travel to India to get that.
3. LOR’s. I have some LOR’s from my previous consultants which are few months old and they are not addressed to the program directors. How important is LOR letter.
4. Do I have to pass Step3 to get H1 if the program is providing. I have heard that some programs provide H1.
Thank you

got the reply from ERAS
Thank you for contacting ERAS Support Services at ECFMG.

Yes, you can still apply for the match, but the NRMP must have your passing results by Feb. 21, 2007. If they do not have all required criteria you will be automatically dropped form the match.
If you cannot provide a MSPE please indicate that on page 12 of the common application form.
As long as the letters are not addressed to any specific person you may use those letters.

Asif - Step three is a requirement from the government for an H visa.
