yeah..it's pb poisning. ALA dehydrogenase is inhibited. but iron keeps getting pumped into the mito..but there is no globin being produced to join with it. get iron overloaded and then you start to act like this child. tell me if i'm wrong!

I think cedrick made an error in writing the question: ala dehydrogenase has nothing to do with heme synthesis. Probably he wanted to write ALA dehydrase which aid the reaction that bring ala to porphobilinogen eliminating 2 molecules of water
