Both Trans programs and Prel IM are open to IMGs. Traditionally both are used to complete the one year internship that some advanced Derm, Rad, Anesth, etc programs need. Transitional (at least at my hospital) residents do less months of IM (2-3 months less), which is why it is more popular.

Good luck

Dear bbb,

For Rad, if go through transitional, and finish it, it is necesary to pass prelim or apply for next match PGY2.

No - the transitional and prelim year would both be the internship year that Rad would need. I don't know what you mean by "apply for next match PGY2"

I mean after transitional, you should apply again for match, or you can select radiology without transitional. how much the success rate? what is about neurology?

It's going to vary from program to program - you will need to check with the programs that you are looking at what they will want from you. If you don't have an advanced match (and check the search here and on the NRMP site to learn what that means) for radiology, then during your transitional year, you will have to interview for radiology.
