while exercising the patient has shotness of breath but no chest paion
which of the followinh is the most likely cause of the shortness of breath ?

a.-decreased cardiac output during exercise
b.-decreased pulmoanry blood flow
c.-increased aortic pressure
d.-increased end diastolic pressure of the left ventricule during exercise
e.-Taquicardia

This question has been discussed and people agreed with A, but Nadia posted this question without control and excercise information, now re-read it I go with E as I used to go with it before.

I choose E by exclusion, other choices are not correct.

the pt has aortic stenosis. y wud tachycardia give rise to dyspnea. it shud give rise to palpittions. so i exclude E as the answer.

the answer cud be D. maybe that wud indicate pulmonary edema or something

any ideas??

why it cant be A as in exercise there is tachycardia and in tachycardia heart may not be able topump adequate blood meaning decreased cardiac output .

it is during diastole that coronary circulation is significant
