A 35 year old married man comes to the phisycian because of 2 day history of burning with urination
he tells the phisycian that he had an affair while on a business trip 2 weeks ago
the next day the patient's wife telephones the physician,stating
"My husband saw you yesterday.Does he have a sexually transmitted disease ? "

in case of STD, we can break confidentiality.But we have to give a chance the person to tell his wife himself. so the answer is C.

I do agree that we should make the husband tell the wife. but C doesn't say so it is a simple "i can't tell you " and she should be informed , I think it is either b or e since these encourage talking but the look too rude I guess it may be a

ans C bc question does not mentins STD and physicians himself not yetdiagnosed the disease so better option is to obtain permission from husband to discuss his case with his wife
