could any one give me an easy way to understand the mean systolic filling pressure

  #2

its something i found difficult too, so i am gonna try MSFP..‘measure of tightness’ with which the circulatory system is filled with blood. supposing a pt were to develop for eg Ventricular fibrillation, and there was no pumping force of the heart, the pressure in the system wud not immediately fall to zero. MSFP is a measure of that pressure. it reflects the tendecy of the blood to flow Towards the hearti.e venous return. IF u transfuse a patient. the MSFP will increase.
