Hi everyone,
Well I know I've not posted for a long long time now but I had too many things on my hands, so never got around to come on the internet. I just got back from my native country after almost 4 months.
Anyways the status of my studies is not so good coz of this unplanned turn of events but its not totally bad either. I have finished reading all subjects from Kaplan notes once. Now am starting on 2nd reading. Am planning on taking step 1 exam towards end of February.
Right now am giving 2nd readind to Biochem/Genetics and hope to be able to complete it by thursday evening. Then I'll start with Beh Sci.
How is everyones prep going? Jaide, zenith, unique, seems, oldkidonblock... how's step 1 treating you guys????
remember... no retreat. no surrender... we will have our troubles.. but we shall overcome.

biochem/genetics 2nd reading target for today 100 pages.
Acheived so far: 50 pages.
Still to go: 50...
Assessment of the day so far: motivation level is okay but concentration level is pretty low. having trouble studying at a stretch...

Yesterday could not meet the day's target by 30 pages. Managed to read only 70 out of 100 pages. So today's target is 130 pages. Lets see how it goes...

hi everyone,
am reporting late today... just was hesitating coz yesterday wasnt productive at all. just managed 30 pages out of the target of 130.
so todays target was 200 pages!
so far managed 80 pages... so still far away from meeting todays target....
seems like i will need one more day to complete biochem/genetics.
to unique and mytime: thanks a ton for ur words of encouragement. they mean a lot to me.
keep up the fight guys... we must beat this beast.... and we will...

hi,
well today should be a tough day.... in all have to read about 140 pages... i guess i made things tough for myself by slackening the other day... so now i have to try harder... already i am late by 1 day... so i'll try my best to complete it today...
to medocuk: wow that question was like a mirror to me... made me face the facts as they were.... yes, i started 6 months ago and then had to postpone things for almost 2 and a half months coz of pressing needs on the domestic front... anyways now i am back and hope to accomplish this mission without another interruption... and with all u wonderful people around to inspire i feel my heart full of hope...

hi everyone,
yesterday could manage to complete just half of my target.... so 70 pages still remain... already am 2 days behind my schedule... atleast i hope i can complete it today as i will be taking sunday and monday off.
biochem as usual is a bit of a challenge for me. on tuesday i shall be starting with beh sci/biostatistics alongwith a revision of neuroanatomy (my absolute weakest subject...)
its important for me to finish todays target... i just hope i can manage to do it...

well i have finally managed to complete my biochem/genetics revision. now wil be starting with beh sci and neuroanatomy. but that will be tomorrow.
today i'll be spending the entire day attempting qbank questions. lets see how many i can complete today... j have no target as such.... i'll just try to do and understand as many as i can...
i'll keep my progress posted....

yesterday managed to do and review 150 questions. today am starting with beh sci and neuroanatomy... my target is to complete revising them by coming tuesday. this time i had overrun my target by 3 days... lets see if i can keep to it this time or not..

hi guys,
from now on i'll report my progress in a more easy to understand way. every morning i'll decide on the total number of pages i have to complete by night and i'll report my progress as a percentage of that target. that should help me track my productivity for each day better i feel...
so far i've completed just 11% of my todays target... wow so much still remains..
