During the second and thrid trimestres of pregnancy women have increased levels of circulating glucocorticoids but have few of the catabolic responses associated with excess glucorticoids
the most likely explanation of this finding is increased ?

a.-autoantibodies
b.-metabolic clearance of steroids
c.-steroids binding proteins
d.-steroid receptors
e.-steroid uptake mechanisms

Yes C is correct

IN pregnancy binding protein are increased that is why steroid are increased .... mean total steriod are increased but circulating free is normal that is why we are not seeing few of the catabolic responses associated with excess glucorticoids
