here I have a question about Premature Rupture of Membranes (PROM) From reading Kaplan OB/GYN notes, one of the management is discribed as: If no infection, at term (>=36weeks), initiate prompt delivery. If vaginal delivery is expected, use oxytocin or prostaglandins as indicated. Otherwise, perform cesarean delivery. Does this mean Cesarean section is preferred? Thanks!

always depends on the mother and baby situation. and how good is your insurance. CS is the answer in those cases where the baby is viable and there´s risk.
