Hello, i finished my MBBS in 2004 and internship in 2005. can any one tell me which year is my graduate , is it 2004 or 2005. i really appreciate your help guys.

My answer would be to look at your diploma from medical school. That date is your graduation. UNLESS, you need the internship to graduate from medical school.
Talk to your school and ask them.

bbb I'm (and so is my med school) a bit confused about this too, as my degree has one date but I took a break and finished my internship quite a while after, but the internship was required to recieve the final diploma...so what year did I graduate in? The year written on my diploma or the year I finished my internship?

hi guys i graduated from ukraine in 2002 but as we are FMG's done medicine abroad have to clear screening test taken by medical council of india just equivalent to MD/PG level ,after clearing that exam we are eligible for internship in india,then i cleared that exam in 2003 ,i started my internship in 2003 and completed in 2004..so which year will be considered for when i apply for residency-will it be 2002 or 2004...

I guess that I would stick with the "if you need the internship to complete your medical degree" that would be your graduation date, eh?

drpkaur, I think 2002 might be the appropriate response for you seeing as your degree probably has 2002 written on it, and this rotatory internship was not required for you to graduate from Ukraine. You might wanna ask what your class mates, or seniors have done, I am sure many of them have come to the US.

I asked ECFMG this question they have told me to write down date on degree irrespective of when U finished internship.That has made me look three year old graduate than 2 yr old.
