The catalase positive organisms that I know about are: SPACE: -Staph aureus -Pseudomonas aeuruginosa -Aspergillus -Candida -Enterobacteriaceae, especially Klebsiella as stated in Kap... but later in the flow charts it says Neisseria species is also Catalase +.... So... is it?

N. gonorrohoeae is catalase AND oxidase positive. I always do both on this organism. M. catarrhalis is also catalase positive. It's a good clue if you have a colony you're suspicious of on your respiratory cultures.
