hey guys, been here for quite awhile now and i've been reading posts for some tips for my journey through residency.
Anyway, I just wanted to ask if this ever happened to anyone in here:
Took my step 1 and passed, then prepared for step 2 ck (UW:58% 1st try, Kaplan q book:70-80%), then was scheduled to take ck last june 9. I came prepared for the exam, and 6 blocks through the exam, there was a power shortage. Everyone in the room was shocked but we were advised not to worry coz they will be able to retrieve our exams.
Out of 16 test takers that day, the test supervisors were able to retrieve all exams, exept one. And it was mine. I was told to step out of the room. So 2 blocks to go in my exam prior to the power failure, i was told that they cannot get my exam back (exhausting every means they had to do) so they told me that i will be allowed to take the exam on another day free of charge, using the same permit, same CIN and stuff.
I took the exam on the next available day (june 13) and everything went well, it was just as gruelling as the first one i had, but i was able to finish it this time.
However, it's taking a long time for oasis to post my score report. Everyone i knew who took the exam on june 9 had their score report at oasis already last june 28, and if my math was right, i should have my score report by july 2. I know july 4th is independence day, but i'm quite anxious if there was another problem with my score, considering i had to take it twice, and with the "luck" i'm having taking step 2 ck. Or maybe it's just the paranoid me. Im hoping someone experienced the same thing or something quite like it.

haven't received my score yet, but oasis reported it already june 12. and did the oasis trick and i passed, yey! hopefully i get a score of 90 or above, coz i'm shooting for a surgery position for this year's match.
