Well this is my second post, the other one was six months ago when I passed the step 2ck. I receceived my results yesterday, 5 weeks after my step 1 exam, and I have 97/240
Im very happy because I was a little scared. The questions in the exam were as hard as the qbank, and not too long, and I had questions from all the subjects, specially pathology and phisiology. Time was ok for me, i usually had 3 minutes left after each block. When I got out from my exam I wasn't so sure of my performance (contrary to the 2ck, where I was pretty confident after it).
I didn't studied cell biology, histology or molecular biology (I only readthe FA and made the qbank questions), so that was why I was so worried, but I didn't have many questions about those subjects. I used the kaplan books, the q bank (which I would recommend),some high yields and the FA, and studied about 4 hours daily the first 3 months, 8 hours per day the other 2 months and about 10 hours the last month (when I made the questions).
In the qbank i had: Inmuno 63%, Micro 77%, Molecular biology 50%, Pathology 78%, Phisiopathology 80%, Pharmacology 71%, Phisiology 62%, Beh science 70%, biochemistry 65%, biostatistics 59%, cellular biology 30%  , embriology 58%, genetics 52%, gross anatomy 51% and histology 62%. Average 70%
USMLE CD: 31, 40 and 35
My only advice to you would be to study hard, the exam is not as bad as many people say (at least not the one I had) and to stay confident that day (i always read this forum, but I would strongly recommend you not to read it the month before your exam because some posts can really depress you).
Now I have to study hard for my CS in 1 week. Good look to all of u.
