it sems huge
feels like ive been doing nothing
but today is a good day for me
seem to get my spirits back
have to do first aid and hi yields!!
and loads of questions

q bank questions too and revise my kaplans??
is it doable in 3 weeks or shud i change my slot? does the approximate score in the Q banks over the last week help?

hmm i ve realised that sadly i get the basic questions wrong. i hope that improves when i do my third read. how come i am sooo blank...ive forgotten stuff which i tot i knew really well...the next few weeks i'll need to REALLY REALLY work hard. hopefully with some luck and loads of god's blessings i'll manage

well ive decided to quit everything else and just concentrate n first aid...my exam in in like 2 weeks...is that ok or shud i change my date?

go and do NBME form 1. it will show your areas of weakness and also help you to determine your level of preparedness. it will help to bolster your confidence if you get more than you expected and also be a reality check if you get less than you expected!!! then you can decide on when to take the exam.
good luck. we may be sitting the same exam. mine is on tue, 25th. when is yours?

NBME does not have answers. it is set by the same examining body that sets teh step 1 exam so they do not give answers but they give you a score that you can correlate to the real exam. and from the experience of others, the scores are pretty pretty very correlated. just a difference of + or - 5 from my observations. exam questions are also close the type they set and some people get a few questions in the exam from NBME.
their website is NBME.ORG. it is $45 per form. each form has 4 blocks of 50q each.

hmm i plan to study atleast 12 hrs a day
multiply that by 10 and i have 120 hours
not too bad for 7 subjects

i think i get so scared of the volume of material, i end up postponing doing it..
so i will approach it in baby steps

look just remember u cant do anything about the time lost
so kick that out of ur mind
and try doing sumthing in the time to cum
i read a post in exam experiences and thank god, contrary to popular opinion, it says studying in the last few days was EXTREMELY helpful..
dont try to think of ALL u got left..just think of what u can do in the next two hrs...( yes I did the Fungi)
and unavoidable circumtances...i hate those..just keep happening
will pray for u..have trust in god
