Are there situations that you need to measure B.P. in the encounter ?

i would think if the patient comes with complaints of orthostatic hypotension, like if complaint of dizziness and fatigue and we suspect orthostatic hypotension. Can some forum seniors please advise ?

no need to measure since there wont be any changes in blood pressure. Patient will be healthy most likely. Therefore take their word for it. anyone else?

you take the BP for a pre-employment exam and your suppose to for HTN. I never took a BP. Same for fundascopy. DM,HTN, or eye problems. I never did one, just not enough time.
