sure..this is action potential in a neuron. Depolarization (ascendent curve) is via Na influx through voltage gated channels. these channels are closed under resting condition but the membrane depolarization cause them to quicly open then quicly close. Here permeability for Na is greater than permeability for K. the descendent part of the curve is repolarization. Here the voltage gated Na channels close and the voltage gated K channels open (slowly), increasing K efflux. so K permeability is greater than Na permeability. I hope that's it. ...
