Hi, i wonder if there is somebody from PEru trying to pass the steps. I already did it and i would be happy to share my experience.

my step1 experience:
i took almost all the information from this forum. i used kaplan materials as my main source of information. it is simply perfect!!!
but there are some topics not completely covered, so i think it is necessary to use some other books.
anatomy......high yield anatomy, neuroanatomy and ambriology
biochemistry......lippincott
microbiology.....micro made ridiculously simple
pharmacology.....lippincott
these should be used as ADDITIONAL materials. please do not try to learn from these books!!! just use them if you think you need to undeerstand better some topic.
i hope this helps...if somebody have questions , just let me know and i will try to help. I also have some materials that i used that i would be glad to share with you.
